WebJun 8, 2024 · I recently replaced a cracked touchscreen on a D5500, with one (new) I bought from e-bay. Its "touchscreen" function does not work. Using the MENU I ensured (cycling several times) that the "Touch controls" are ON, and fully "Enabled". But it does not cure the issue. My firmware versions are C 1.00 and L 2.008.
