The Newsletter covers their first Steering Group meeting since the pandemic, progress on a revised impact assessment and a new factsheet setting out the Liberty Protection Safeguards process. You can view the newsletter here. WebLiberty Protection Safeguards Latest News: This new law was expected to come into Force in April 2024 but the Department of Health and Social Care (DHSC) reported that this date would not be met. Public consultation on the new law concluded on the 14 July 2024 and the DHSC will now have a period of reviewing the feedback received.
