WebI'm surprised that Collins lists 'resignment.' I don't think it's a word either -- or rather, if it does occasionally appear in the odd dictionary, surely it's what Garner calls a needless variant. 'Resignation' is the normal word, either in the sense of resigning from a job or in the sense of acquiescence.
