WebJan 25, 2024 · @justinihil I had the same problem, writing multiple sheets to one Excel file. When I wrote the file to my machine, I didn't get any errors. When I wrote the file to a (slower) network drive, I would get file write-contention errors ("being used by another process", "could not create backup", etc). WebJun 11, 2024 · If the latter this can be caused due to a little bit of network latency in the way Alteryx streams the data to Excel. In the drop down box for File Format, if you see Microsoft Excel Legacy please try that, if you don't see that please follow the post in here
