Instead of being a “rail trail’ the Maybrook is actually a “rail with trail” traveling alongside the Maybrook Line owned by Metro-North Railroad. WebThe Maybrook Railroad Museum preserves and promotes the history of the Maybrook, NY switching terminal and the railroads which it served. The museum is currently located in the Maybrook Village Government Center. It includes pictures, documents, and model trains, among other historic items.
